Captain's Library: SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS Conclusion

In a desperate attempt to stimulate their lethargic and unmotivated children, the Martians decide to create a Christmas celebration on Mars.
But, the idea lacks one vital element...the real Santa Claus!
The Martian leader, Kimar, leads an expedition to Earth, where the aliens invade Santa's workshop at the North Pole.
Transporting Kris Kringle (and a couple of Earth kids they ran into) to the Red Planet, the Martians build a totally-automated factory to produce enough toys in time for Christmas.
But, the big green men are divided about Santa's presence on Mars actually helping their offspring.
One dissident group, lead by Voldar, sabotages the factory and kidnaps who they think is Santa, but is actually Leader Kimar's bumbling aide, Dropo in a spare Santa suit...

But, the idea lacks one vital element...the real Santa Claus!

The aliens and their robot invade the workshop, stun the elves and Mrs Claus, and depart, taking both Santa and the children with them...
Will Voldar realize his mistake?
And if so, will Droppo survive?
Will Santa get back to Earth in time for Christmas?

Captain's Library: SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS Part 1

Believe it or not, there was a comic book version of this holiday "classic"...
...from Dell Comics in 1966!
(...not to be confused with Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars!)
The writer/adaptor is unknown, but the art is by Bob Jenney, who did quite a few movie and tv adaptations for Dell.
The actual title of the comic is Movie Classic #725.

Captain's Library: FRANKENSTEIN Conclusion

Dr Frankenstein reanimated a body composed of parts from various recently-dead men.
Unfortunately, the brain used in the Monster was not normal, but that of a criminal.
The Monster escapes, and accidentally causes the deaths of a young boy and girl.
The enraged townspeople burn the doctor's castle and laboratory to the ground, but Frankenstein, his aide Fritz, and the Monster escape thru a secret tunnel and make their way to the docks, where they board a ship to America...
While Dell did publish Frankenstein #2-4 in 1966, it went even further from the concept of the novel and book, making the Monster into a superhero (I'm not kidding!)
You'll be seeing him over at Hero & Heroine Histories™ during our October salute to Frankenstein  in the comics.
The adaptation we've just presented was written by Don Segall, penciled and inked by Bob Jenney (who did a number of movie adaptations for Dell, including The Mummy and Santa Claus Conquers the Martians).
