Captain's Library: FLASH GORDON "Ace of Space"

Until Star Wars, the best-known cinema space opera was the Flash Gordon series.
Based on the newspaper comic strip created by Alex Raymond in the 1930s, the movie serials provided thrills, chills, and spills on a surprisingly-high budget for that type of movie.
Whenever we can, we'll be presenting features from the past about Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, and other sci-fi media characters.
This particular feature originally appeared in Spacemen magazine, published by Warren, who also did Famous Monsters of Filmland.
