An Open Letter to film critic Katie Walsh about "Start Your 'Planet of the Apes' journey with this guide..."
I attempted to contact film critic Katie Walsh, but was unable to find a working e-mail on her LinkedIn, personal Katie Walsh Writes, or Tribune Content pages, so I thought this might work...
Hi, Katie:
Just curious, but why didn't you list the venues the two TV series (live action and animated) are available on in your current article "Start Your 'Planet of the Apes' journey with this guide" which appeared in recent Sunday newspapers (but isn't, as yet, available on-line from any of your sources)?
You did list the venues for the feature films, but not the TV series!
Do you believe them to be "lesser" elements of the Apes Multiverse compared to the feature films?
Please consider that the animated series was helmed by Doug Wildey, who created the classic Johnny Quest animated TV series, and deliberately followed the Pierre Boule novel's premise of the apes possessing technology contemporary to Earth's, while utilizing characters and plot elements from the (only) first two movies!

Even though restrained by the non-violence rules instituted by the networks for Saturday morning cartoons in the early 1970s, he still managed to produce a quality show at least equal to the live-action TV series and the final feature of the original run...Battle for the Planet of the Apes!
Return to the Planet of the Apes and the 1974 live action TV series (which also suffered from network restrictions on primetime family-hour programming) are available to rent/buy on Amazon.

Plus, both are available on DVD/Blu-Ray, either as standalone sets (Return to the Planet of the Apes and Planet of the Apes 1974)or part of a now-HTF box set of the original five movies and both TV series!

The Little Mermaid's FIRST Live-Action Movie Appearance...
We presented a Little Mermaid comic book tale HERE...
...which was an adaptation of this live-action performance in a 1952 movie...
...about the (fictionalized) life of the fairy tale's writer, Hans Christian Andersen!
In the big-budget flick, Danny Kaye plays Hans, who becomes obsessed with a married ballerina who constantly squabbles with her spouse (also a dancer in the company) and pens "The Little Mermaid" in reaction to what he's witnessed!
Though most of the fairy tales are performed as songs Danny sings to kids, the Little Mermaid is performed as a ballet!
To add "swimming" special effects "magic" to the dancing, it was decided that, rather than presenting it as an actual ballet, they had Hans imagine how it would look!
This allowed them to do things on-screen with wires and optical effects which would've be impossible to show on a live-theatre stage.

The comic book, as shown HERE, did a straightforward adaptation of the fairy tale without the ballet.

Captain's Library WILLOW THE MOVIE Conclusion
...trapped by the soldiers of the evil sorceress Queen Bavmorda, inept, but charming and inadvertently heroic swordsman Madmartigan seems doomed!
But the troopers see something behind him that frightens them!
What is it?
Except for a controversial trilogy of novels that George Lucas plotted (and later declared non-canon), there wasn't a sequel or follow-up in any form until the current Disney+ TV mini-series!
Will there be more adventures for wizard Willow Ufgood?

Captain's Library WILLOW THE MOVIE Part 2b
Wannabe-sorcerer Willow Ufgood re-encounters Madmartigan, disguised as a woman to hide from his mistress's husband Llug.
Sorsha and Kael's army arrives, but Madmartigan is revealed as a man to Llug, who starts a brawl which enables Willow and Madmartigan to escape with the baby.
When they arrive at a lake, the duo split up, with Willow taking the baby.
Attempting to cross the lake, Willow is warned by a swimming child that the sorceress Queen Bavmorda controls the water itself!
Willow doesn't listen, and the kid transforms into a hideous beast...
