...here's the heinously-never-reprinted comics adaptation of their first movie from more than 30 years ago!
Talk about boggling the mind...
Needless to say, this most-magnificent tale continues...
If the adaptation looks almost like a MAD magazine spoof, that's because MAD artist Angelo Torres was second only to fellow MAD artist Mort Drucker at doing dead-on likenesses!
The fact DC (who did this movie adaptation) owned MAD might have been the reason Torres was able to do this despite his exclusive contract!
BTW, this comic was not released as a movie tie-in, but as a video tie-in when the flick was released to home video!
