When Last We Left Our Adventuring Archaeologist...
The unseen narrator leaves out that the Golden Idol is the one that rogue archaeologist Rene Belloq stole from Indy at the beginning of Raiders of the Lost Ark!
Or that the Meso-Americans are working with a mysterious blonde woman who, for some reason, wants Indy dead!
Now, lets see who shot Jones' assailant...
OK, to appreciate fiction (especially sci-fi/fantasy/high adventure), you have to have willing suspension of disbelief!
But, there's no way I can accept this woman as Toht's sister!
BTW, he's one of only five action figures originally-produced by Hasbro for the movie!
(And, yes, the figure has the imprint of the medallion in its' tiny palm!)
Indy, Marion, the huge Arab Swordsman, and he were immortalized in plastic that you could buy in stores!
(Belloq was a premium figure you had to send away for!)Not Sallah, or German commander Dietrich (who I could believe as this woman's brother), or the giant German flying wing mechanic!
Go figure!
