Note that the entire sequence from the movie showing Jones escaping from the Hovitos by reaching his friend's Jock's seaplane, then freaking out when he encounters Jock's pet, Reggie, a (harmless) snake, in the cockpit, is omitted...making the introduction of Indy's phobia about snakes later in the comic a bit "out of left field"!
